Role Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment process including creating job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, extending offers, and managing onboarding.
- Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn, social media channels, and various sourcing tools to effectively identify and connect with qualified candidates.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders to comprehend recruitment needs and clarify position requirements.
- Participate actively in recruiting and selection, developing criteria and interview materials, conducting initial candidate screenings, and collaborating with hiring managers during interviews.
- Design and implement tailored recruitment strategies that address specific roles and business demands.
- Perform comprehensive candidate interviews to evaluate capabilities, cultural fit, and alignment with company values.
- Ensure a smooth and positive candidate journey by maintaining transparent communication throughout recruitment phases.
- Keep abreast of recruiting market trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to improve recruitment efficiency.
- Prepare, present, and send official job offer packages.
- Partner with HR and hiring teams to facilitate effective onboarding of new employees.
- Formulate and execute recruitment and retention plans to draw and keep top talent.
- Offer guidance and training to management and staff regarding optimal recruitment, selection, and retention practices.
- Establish recruitment policies that comply with employment laws and reflect industry best practices.
- Ensure all recruitment and selection procedures adhere to legal standards and regulations.
Additional HR Responsibilities
- Support departmental HR projects and initiatives.
- Advise managers on recruitment best practices and relevant human rights and employment legislation.
- Represent Charger Logistics at job and career fairs, engaging in recruitment and networking activities.
- Maintain and update job descriptions periodically to align with company requirements.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze findings to enhance retention approaches.
- Advocate and uphold health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with company practices.
- Align recruitment strategies with the overarching corporate objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of experience managing end-to-end recruitment, ideally in-house.
- Proven expertise in utilizing recruitment platforms such as ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, and other sourcing technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sound decision-making capabilities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quick adaptability to new software/tools.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Maintains high levels of confidentiality and professionalism consistently.
