About the Role

Tesla seeks a motivated and seasoned Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team at the Markham, Ontario facility. This position plays a vital role in recruiting top-tier talent for skilled trades and high-volume manufacturing roles such as Electricians, Maintenance Technicians, Controls Technicians, Tool & Die Specialists, Machinists, and Facilities personnel essential to maintaining Tesla's world-class production lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with manufacturing leaders and hiring managers to understand and assess staffing needs while recommending effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage time, resources, and recruitment priorities efficiently, offering frequent, data-driven progress reports to business partners and stakeholders.
• Utilize diverse sourcing techniques to identify and engage passive candidates for critical skilled trade and manufacturing roles.
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral interviews and phone screens to evaluate candidates' technical expertise and compatibility with Tesla’s dynamic work environment.
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Required Qualifications

• Availability to work onsite at Tesla’s Markham, Ontario location.
• At least 2 years’ proven experience in recruiting, particularly for skilled trades and leadership roles.
• Successful track record in relationship management with hiring managers and business stakeholders to guide talent sourcing and candidate evaluation.
• A strong passion for technology demonstrated by ongoing professional learning; experience with SI recruiting tools is an advantage.
• Expertise in offer negotiation and familiarity with relevant employment laws and labor market trends.
• Ability to travel occasionally to the United States with eligibility for business travel.
• Preferred experience combining corporate recruitment and agency/executive search backgrounds.

Compensation

• Associate Recruiter annual salary range: $75,240 to $112,860.
• Recruiter annual salary range: $85,360 to $128,040.
• Compensation packages include cash bonuses, stock awards, and benefits, which vary based on multiple factors like location, skills, and experience.
