Recreation Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a Recreation Specialist to join Paramount Midtown Hotel, a prestigious brand with over a century of entertainment excellence. This role involves engaging with guests, ensuring their enjoyment and safety in pool and fitness areas, and contributing to the overall hotel experience in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests utilizing the hotel’s swimming pool and fitness amenities.
• Maintain accurate logs and registration records for recreation usage.
• Keep the pool, fitness center, and recreation zones clean, safe, and properly maintained at all times.
• Arrange poolside furniture, cabanas, towels, and other guest convenience items.
• Monitor levels of supplies and detect any equipment issues, reporting maintenance or housekeeping needs promptly.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and timely responses.
• Report any safety incidents or accidents directly to the supervisory team.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Laundry, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Market the hotel's facilities and services proactively to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Perform opening, closing, and other tasks as delegated by the Spa & Recreation department.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in guest relations within 5-star hospitality or health club sectors is preferred.
• Holding a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is advantageous.
