Job Overview

The Recreation Attendant at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA in Doha, Qatar, plays a vital role in supporting guests with access to recreational facilities and activities while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming environment. This position requires attention to detail and excellent guest service skills.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet and inform guests about various recreational amenities such as pools, fitness centers, sports courts, and beach activities.
• Assist guests with renting equipment and making reservations smoothly and professionally.
• Supervise several recreational zones including pools, beaches, gyms, playgrounds, and sports areas, enforcing all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests related to recreational services.
• Identify and report any hazards, accidents, or maintenance problems to management without delay.
• Manage the organization, inspection, and storage of recreational equipment including bicycles, kayaks, and sports gear to ensure good condition and availability.
• Support the coordination and delivery of recreational events, such as games, tournaments, fitness classes, children’s programs, and entertainment activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all recreational spaces, arranging guest amenities like towels, chairs, and umbrellas appropriately.
• Safeguard guest well-being by monitoring safety, providing basic first aid if certified, and assisting during emergencies following established procedures.
• Keep accurate documentation including attendance records, activity logs, equipment rental transactions, and incident reports.

Experience Requirement

Applicants should have at least one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
