Role Overview
The Recovery Officer position is a full-time role based onsite in Nagpur. The primary duty involves managing delinquent accounts, reaching out to customers via calls and face-to-face meetings, and arranging repayment plans compliant with company guidelines and regulations. The officer is responsible for meticulous documentation of all interactions, generating progress reports, and escalating complex issues when needed. Collaboration with finance and customer service teams is essential to resolve payment concerns, ensure proper paperwork, and maintain a positive client experience while meeting recovery objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills essential to communicate effectively, establish rapport, and handle delicate situations with professionalism.
- Prior experience in debt collection and familiarity with financial principles required to manage overdue accounts efficiently.
- Robust analytical abilities to assess account information, detect patterns, and advise on suitable recovery actions.
- Competence in basic computer software and record-keeping systems to document interactions and compile recovery reports.
- Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications related to finance, business, or relevant fields is favorable.
- Demonstrated integrity, resilience under pressure, awareness of pertinent laws and regulations, and capability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team.
