Overview

Pinnacle Health is seeking a skilled full-time Receptionist/Administrator to join a welcoming and busy medical practice located on the Tokoroa Hospital campus in Waikato, New Zealand. This important role involves being a reliable team member, ensuring patients receive a friendly, professional welcome while efficiently handling daily administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities and Qualities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues, fostering a positive environment.
  • Take ownership and confidently make decisions within the scope of duties using sound judgement and initiative.
  • Proactively identify tasks and act on them without waiting for direction.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Contribute to improving processes and seeking efficient ways to enhance workflow.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in reception or administrative roles.
  • A positive and friendly attitude towards work and interactions.
  • Strong computer skills with confidence using various systems and software.
