Receptionist

Overview

Join Aloft Abu Dhabi as a Receptionist where you will be pivotal in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests beyond just check-in and check-out. This role supports guest interactions with various services throughout their stay, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction while contributing actively to the dynamic environment of the hotel.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively assist guests throughout their stay by addressing needs, responding to requests, and providing information about local attractions.
• Handle operational tasks such as processing reports and facilitating guest transactions with a focus on seamless experiences.
• Support guests with luggage assistance including loading/unloading vehicles and transporting bags to and from rooms or designated bell areas.
• Maintain a safe workplace following company policies, uphold confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Ensure professional appearance and communication at all times in line with company standards.
• Perform physical activities required by the role, including extended standing, walking, navigating confined and elevated spaces, lifting objects up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance, and other manual duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work or supervisory experience is required.
• No professional licenses or certifications are necessary.

The position is based at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, located on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time, onsite role with non-management classification.
