About the Role
Cliff at Lyons, a prestigious luxury countryside retreat near Dublin, renowned for its exceptional hospitality, exquisite dining, and commitment to sustainability and local Irish ingredients, is inviting applications for an experienced Reception Supervisor. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Celbridge, County Kildare.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to reservation emails and general inquiries from hotel guests.
- Lead and oversee the Reception Team while supporting the Front Office Manager in daily operations.
- Allocate rooms effectively, ensuring alignment with guest preferences and specific requests.
- Manage hotel bookings, including new reservations, changes, and cancellations, accurately using the HotSoft system.
- Maintain precise guest records in the reservation system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared and ready for arriving guests.
- Address customer complaints or direct them to the relevant departments for resolution.
Requirements
- Preferably over three years of experience in a similar supervisory reception role; however, training will be provided.
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Experience with HotSoft booking software is a distinct advantage.
- Availability to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
