Role Impact
As a ReactNative Developer, you will play a key role in developing the front-end experience of Bridgit's lending platform. You'll collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and implement user-friendly interfaces across customer, broker, and internal applications. Beyond coding, you'll influence UI/UX standards by advocating design-led development and refining the front-end codebase.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance and engaging user interfaces across mobile platforms using modern frontend technologies.
- Work closely with product and technology teams to implement feature designs for customer-facing and internal applications.
- Write reliable and well-tested code while identifying opportunities for technical enhancements and refactoring.
- Offer data-driven ideas and improvements to advance technical quality.
- Engage in design and code reviews, support peers, and uphold high technical standards.
- Mentor fellow engineers, promote best engineering practices, and foster a quality-driven culture.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a front-end mobile developer.
- Proven expertise in building and releasing mobile apps using React Native.
- Experience with Expo framework and mobile deployment workflows.
- Solid grasp of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design methodologies.
- Skilled in integrating mobile applications with APIs and third-party services.
- Knowledgeable about Apple App Store and Google Play Store release procedures.
- Ability to independently take ownership of features from design through delivery, including architectural decisions.
- Committed to mentoring peers and elevating team technical standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills grounded in foundational principles rather than over-reliance on existing patterns or libraries.
- Driven and passionate about UI and UX within a growing company.
- Positive mindset, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to documentation and task descriptions.
