Role Overview
The Radiologist will work full-time on-site at Samay Hospitals Group in Patna. This role involves interpreting and reporting results from medical imaging techniques such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and others available at the facility. The Radiologist will collaborate with referring physicians to optimize diagnostic processes, suggest suitable imaging methods, and engage in multidisciplinary discussions. Responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate image interpretation, adherence to quality control and safety norms, following clinical protocols, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the Radiologist may oversee imaging technologists, assist in refining protocols, and support training junior staff.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong medical background enabling integration of clinical data with imaging findings.
- Advanced knowledge of radiology and medical imaging including both cross-sectional and conventional techniques.
- Understanding of Nuclear Medicine concepts, with capability to collaborate on or interpret related diagnostic studies.
- Experience in mammography and breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic procedures, is particularly valued.
- Possession of a recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completion of postgraduate training or residency in Radiology (MD, DNB or equivalent).
- Licensure or valid medical registration according to local medical authority requirements.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and dedication to diagnostic precision and patient safety.
- Effective communication abilities and collaborative nature to work well with clinicians, technologists, and support staff.
- A commitment to lifelong learning to remain current with evolving imaging technologies and radiology practices.
