Role Overview

This position involves a full-time, on-site role as a Radiologist within AL MASHFA’s Jeddah facility. The primary duties include performing and interpreting diverse imaging tests such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms, ensuring strict compliance with clinical guidelines and safety procedures. The Radiologist is responsible for delivering precise diagnostic reports, collaborating with referring doctors to discuss imaging outcomes, and actively participating in multidisciplinary case reviews. Additionally, the role encompasses overseeing imaging technicians when necessary, enforcing radiation safety regulations, and engaging in quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret imaging examinations including X-rays, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and mammography in line with established protocols.
• Generate accurate and clear diagnostic reports to inform patient treatment plans.
• Consult with clinical teams and referring physicians to discuss imaging results and implications.
• Supervise and guide imaging technologists, ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards in imaging practices.
• Stay informed on latest developments in radiology and nuclear medicine to enhance clinical expertise.
• Support patient understanding by explaining procedures and findings compassionately and effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Solid background in clinical medicine with ability to integrate imaging results with overall patient management.
• Expertise in interpreting radiological modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
• Experience or formal training in nuclear medicine for both diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
• Competency in mammography including screening procedures, adhering strictly to relevant safety standards and guidelines.
• Possession of a medical degree, completed radiology residency, and valid professional license or registration as per local legal requirements.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
