Role Overview

The Radiologist position is a full-time, on-site role based in Pilani. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting and analyzing a variety of imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and other diagnostic tests. The Radiologist will review imaging requests to confirm correct protocols, produce clear and prompt reports, and communicate results effectively to referring doctors.

This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, participation in case reviews, and support for emergency and critical care imaging needs. Responsibilities also include contributing to quality control, radiation safety adherence, protocol improvements, and occasionally participating in teaching, training, and clinical research.

Qualifications and Expertise Required

• Strong grounding in Medicine and Radiology, with ability to integrate clinical and imaging information.
• Proficiency in multiple imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and competence in interpretation and reporting.
• Training or experience in Mammography, including breast imaging assessment and screening processes.
• Exposure to Nuclear Medicine principles and imaging techniques, with knowledge of safety regulations.
• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience following postgraduate qualification and valid medical registration as per applicable regulations.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytic and diagnostic acumen, adherence to evidence-based medicine and patient safety standards.
• Capability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, busy hospital environment and manage workload efficiently.
• Previous experience in a multispeciality or tertiary care hospital preferred; familiarity with digital imaging systems such as PACS and RIS is advantageous.
