Radiologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Radiologist to conduct and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds to support accurate patient diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out medical imaging diagnostics including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasound examinations to aid clinical decision-making.
• Evaluate and interpret imaging results to detect abnormalities and compile precise reports.
• Work closely with healthcare practitioners to review imaging findings and recommend additional diagnostic or therapeutic actions.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures, strictly following safety standards and protocols.
• Keep thorough and current clinical documentation and imaging reports within patient medical records.
• Offer emergency interpretation assistance for urgent imaging and advise on immediate medical responses when needed.
• Continuously update knowledge on radiology equipment and techniques to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the education and guidance of junior radiology staff and technicians.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess an MD in Radiology or DNB in Radiodiagnosis.

Location

The position is based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.
