Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Radiography Assistant is tasked with providing foundational support in patient care and radiological procedures at JurongHealth Campus. This includes guiding and aiding patients with hygiene and personal care, such as assisting with clothing changes. Additionally, the assistant supports doctors and radiographers by transferring patients onto examination couches, acting as chaperones, and preparing patients for radiological examinations.
They also handle clerical tasks such as entering data into the Worklist and Radiology Information System, performing daily preventive maintenance on General X-Ray equipment, and managing administrative responsibilities including the collection and storage of radiology request forms.
Qualifications and Skills
- At minimum, completion of N Level education.
- Preferably holding a WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or an equivalent credential.
- Proficiency with computer applications is necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with a cooperative team-oriented attitude.
