Radiography Assistant

Role Overview

The Radiography Assistant plays a key supporting role in patient care and radiological services within JurongHealth Campus. This position involves assisting patients with basic care activities and aiding radiographers and doctors during examinations and procedures.

Primary Duties

• Carry out fundamental patient care tasks such as guiding and helping patients with hygiene and personal care, including changing their clothing.
• Support medical staff by moving patients onto examination couches, acting as a chaperone, and prepping patients for radiology procedures.
• Assist radiographers by entering data into Worklist and Radiology Information Systems.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on General X-Ray equipment each day.
• Interact comfortably and effectively with patients, ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
• Perform administrative tasks including managing and retrieving request forms from storage systems.
• Collect relevant data as required for departmental operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum educational attainment of N Level.
• Possession of a WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or an equivalent qualification is advantageous.
• Proficient in computer use.
• Effective team collaborator with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
