Role Overview
Join Qscan Group's radiography team at North West Private Hospital in Brisbane, a busy hospital-based imaging center providing diverse patient care and clinical services. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance hospital and acute-care radiography experience, engaging with a variety of cases and working alongside clinical and medical teams. Additional flexibility and earnings are available through on-call and after-hours shifts. The role suits someone comfortable in a fast-paced environment, seeking to strengthen hospital radiography skills within a supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality general radiography and computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures.
- Support musculoskeletal (MSK) and interventional imaging processes.
- Provide patient-focused care ensuring comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
- Uphold strict imaging quality and radiation safety standards.
- Collaborate professionally with radiologists and other clinical team members.
- Contribute actively to fostering a positive and cooperative clinic culture.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Radiographer).
- Proven experience in general radiography with theatre experience considered a strong advantage.
- Experience in hospital radiography preferred; ability to operate confidently in a fast-moving acute clinical environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a strong patient-centered approach.
- Capability to prioritize multiple clinical demands while maintaining excellent care and image quality.
- Solid knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and applicable clinical protocols.
- Willingness to participate in on-call and after-hours duties.
- Ability to work independently and contribute positively within a team.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and keeping radiographic skills current.
