R2R/P2P/O2C Process Delivery Specialist

Job Overview

This position involves managing comprehensive Record to Report (R2R) activities across multiple accounting domains within a global manufacturing setting, handling multiple currencies and legal entities. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to compliance, and timely completion of financial reports.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare, scrutinize, and authorize journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Facilitate month-end and year-end financial close activities ensuring adherence to prescribed timelines.
• Conduct product costing, inventory accounting, and COPA processes; analyze variances and trends.
• Handle intercompany accounting, transfer pricing calculations, and cross-entity reconciliations.
• Manage fixed asset and lease accounting, including compliance with IFRS 16 standards.
• Oversee project accounting and budgeting efforts.
• Generate management reports, financial schedules, and conduct analytic reporting.
• Support tax accounting and ensure compliance across various jurisdictions.
• Participate in both internal and external audit processes ensuring thorough documentation and readiness.
• Drive process improvements, system upgrades, and automation projects.
• Collaborate effectively with business units, controllers, and external stakeholders on accounting queries.

Technical Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA, especially in FI, CO, COPA, Product Costing, Asset Accounting, and Project Systems.
• Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO modules and finance process management.
• Knowledge of profitability analysis, cost accounting, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations.
• Understanding intercompany transactions and consolidation adjustments.
• Ability to prepare precise financial reports and schedules.
• Familiarity with tax compliance and accounting standards such as IFRS and Ind-AS.

Experience and Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Accounting, Record to Report (RTR) Operations, Shared Services, Global Capability Centers (GCC), or Finance Operations.
• Educational background: B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
