Position Overview
AlSalehat Holding is searching for a skilled Quantity Surveyor based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to contribute to the completion of prominent high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and extensive building projects. This senior role focuses on commercial and contract management alongside precise cost monitoring across company developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of measurement, cost control, and managing contracts for projects.
- Develop major variation claims, evaluate cost impacts, and compile commercial documentation.
- Examine and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity analyses, and financial valuations.
- Perform risk assessments on potential cost escalations and advise on preventive measures.
- Guide junior quantity surveyors and collaborate closely with finance, planning, and engineering departments.
- Engage actively in negotiations with clients and contractors as well as project appraisal sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- Accumulate 10 to 15 years of experience in quantity surveying with no less than 5 years in senior-level positions.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and in-depth understanding of FIDIC contract principles.
- Exhibit advanced proficiency in measurement techniques, cost prediction, and preparing claims.
