Job description
About the Role
We have an urgent vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor (SPIR) to join a leading oil and gas company based in Doha, Qatar. This short-term project role offers a fixed monthly salary ranging from QAR 7,000 to 10,000. The interview will be conducted online through Microsoft Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all additional works, contract variations, and their measurement processes.
- Oversee the submission process for additional work and variation documentation.
- Conduct daily reviews of additional work and variation forms and coordinate necessary approvals with QatarEnergy.
- Compile and consolidate measurement sheets, variation sheets, and other pertinent documents efficiently.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably within the petrochemical, oil, and gas sectors.
- Hands-on experience in Turnaround (TA) planning for petrochemical and oil & gas plants.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as MS Project and/or Primavera.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module.
