Job Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking a knowledgeable Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Al Ali Engineering Co.WLL in Doha, Qatar. This role demands in-depth expertise within building construction projects, particularly in quantity surveying functions.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise

• Conduct meticulous quantity measurements, manage interim valuations, and certify subcontractors accurately.
• Handle post-award tasks across architectural, civil/structural, and finishing work packages.
• Engage in commercial management and cost control activities to ensure project financial performance.
• Administer subcontractor agreements efficiently during the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Bring 12 years of relevant experience specifically in quantity surveying within building construction sectors.
• Show familiarity with variation pricing, claims processes, and final account preparations.
• Have practical knowledge of the Gulf or Qatar construction markets and local authorities’ regulations.
• Be proficient in working under FIDIC contracts or other similar standardized contract frameworks.
