Job description
Role Overview
The position seeks a motivated candidate interested in advancing digital competencies related to quantity surveying, data management, and cost analysis specific to MEP, HVAC, and ACMV systems. This aligns with global sustainability and green initiatives currently shaping the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Quantity Surveyor Manager.
- Engage actively in the tender process to secure project bids successfully.
- Gather and analyze data for accurate cost estimation, budget preparation, contract management, and procurement.
- Develop detailed and strategic cost estimates tailored to project requirements, considering current market conditions and labor expenses, and present these to support tender bids.
- Collaborate with the Contract Manager to draft and review contracts, tender documents, and bills of quantities following Building and Construction Authority (BCA) standards and Singapore regulations.
- Manage procurement by liaising with suppliers, contractors, and consultants to ensure cost efficiency and quality of materials, equipment, and services.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sustainable Infrastructure in Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.
- Prior experience with MEP, HVAC, or ACMV systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with data analysis principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of modern digital tools such as modeling take-off software, RPA, advanced spreadsheet skills, and AI/ML applications beneficial.
- Proficient in English with a willingness to adapt to evolving industry trends.
