Role Overview

This role focuses on supporting construction projects through the development of precise cost estimations, analyzing project specifications, managing tender procedures, and leveraging AutoCAD for drafting needs to ensure budgeting accuracy and contract preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical feasibility studies to evaluate project viability and requirements.
• Source and assess quotes and pricing from contractors and suppliers to optimize expenditures.
• Engage in tendering procedures by preparing necessary documents and conducting cost analyses to aid bid decisions.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects to maintain budgetary compliance.
• Interpret project specifications and technical drawings to estimate materials, labor, and timelines needed for appropriate planning.
• Draft contracts specifying the quantities of materials required for procurement and execution.
• Formulate project plans, budgets, and Bills of Quantities to assist in financial control and project management.
• Submit quotations, manage progress claims and payments, handle Variation Orders, and finalize accounts ensuring financial precision.
• Utilize AutoCAD effectively to produce project plans and technical drawings facilitating clear communication.
• Leverage civil and mechanical engineering experience to underpin project activities and technical assessments.

Preferred Requirements

• Prior work experience in the field of civil engineering.
