Role Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will support the PMS cost control team by overseeing project cost management throughout all phases. This includes evaluating contractor cost reports, budgets, and forecasts to verify completeness and accuracy, maintaining current cost tracking, and assisting with variance analysis. The role involves monitoring financial commitments, expenditures, and trends to ensure alignment with project baselines, supporting monthly reports, invoice verification, and tracking changes. Ensuring cohesive cost data within PMS systems and helping to prepare cost reports for Client submissions are essential duties. Coordination with planning, contracts, and procurement teams is required to maintain precise financial oversight and reporting.
Experience Requirements
Candidates should have either eight years of experience in project cost engineering for large Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects or twelve years of related experience capable of evaluating and consulting on project cost accounting.
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must hold either a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Administration, Business, or a closely related field, or possess a Diploma/Equivalent with a recognized certification in project cost-related expertise.
Location
The position is based in Alkhafji, Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
