Job description
Overview
CW Talent Solutions is collaborating with a prestigious international investment organization to recruit a skilled Quantitative Researcher specializing in macroeconomic signal research. This role offers the chance to engage at the forefront of systematic investment strategies, working on predictive analytics across futures and macroeconomic asset classes in a vibrant, research-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine quantitative signals (alphas) targeting futures and macroeconomic markets.
- Use large datasets to perform original research aimed at identifying inefficiencies in market behavior.
- Develop and back-test models to assess signal effectiveness within live trading scenarios.
- Work collaboratively with fellow researchers and technologists to incorporate signals into systematic trading strategies.
Experience and Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in fields such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Financial Engineering.
- Skilled in processing, modeling, and visualizing data using programming languages including Python, R, or C++.
- Demonstrated strong academic achievements and research proficiency.
- Prior exposure or interest in macroeconomic products such as Commodities, Foreign Exchange (FX), Interest Rates, and Equity Indices is highly advantageous.
- Independent thinker with a systematic and disciplined problem-solving methodology.
- Excellent communication abilities coupled with enthusiasm for understanding global financial markets.
