Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantexa Engineer to contribute to an enterprise financial crime technology project based in Sydney. The suitable candidate should possess extensive practical experience in deploying Quantexa solutions within corporate environments. The focus areas include Transaction Monitoring, Entity Resolution, Network Analytics, Customer Risk Scoring, and detecting financial crime. This position entails designing, building, configuring, optimizing, and maintaining Quantexa solutions while collaborating closely with architecture, business, platform, and delivery stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and sustain Quantexa solutions tailored for Transaction Monitoring and Financial Crime scenarios.
• Enhance capabilities related to Entity Resolution, Network Analytics, Customer Risk Scoring, and Financial Crime Detection.
• Set up and maintain scoring models, business rules, data workflow processes, and associated Quantexa components.
• Interpret business and technical requirements, transforming them into scalable Quantexa implementations.
• Spearhead solution design efforts and influence architectural and implementation choices.
• Diagnose, debug, and fine-tune existing Quantexa systems to boost performance, reliability, and upkeep.
• Collaborate intensely with Architecture, Business, Platform, and Delivery teams to ensure effective execution and deployment.
• Engage in technical dialogues, solution evaluations, design workshops, testing phases, and deployment operations.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering best engineering practices.
• Address production issues swiftly and deliver practical technical resolutions within stipulated timeframes.
• Contribute to comprehensive documentation including solution designs, configurations, implementations, and technical workflows.

Requirements

• Overall professional software engineering experience exceeding 10 years.
• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience implementing Quantexa solutions in enterprise settings.
• Demonstrated expertise with Quantexa Transaction Monitoring implementations.
• Practical knowledge of Entity Resolution, Network Analytics, Customer Risk Scoring, and Financial Crime Detection modules.
• Deep understanding of scoring models, rule frameworks, data workflows, and financial crime domain applications.
• Experience in solution architecture with the ability to guide technological strategies.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting, debugging, and problem resolution.
• Proven collaboration with enterprise architecture and platform teams.
• Experience mentoring and leading junior engineering staff.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
