Quality Supervisor - Printing & Packaging

Overview

We seek a seasoned Quality Supervisor experienced specifically in the Printing & Packaging sector to oversee adherence to quality benchmarks. The role requires monitoring quality at various production stages and ensuring products meet customer and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise quality checks during incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Examine printing and packaging materials and finished products to detect defects.
• Verify compliance against approved samples, specifications, and customer criteria.
• Report quality issues related to printing, packaging, finishing, and raw materials.
• Maintain detailed quality inspection logs and documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and minimize rejections or rework.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective measures effectively.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and prescribed quality standards within the production environment.

Required Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in the Printing & Packaging industry.
• Hands-on exposure to operations involving printing, packaging, labels, cartons, corrugated, offset, flexo, gravure, or related manufacturing processes.
• Strong expertise in quality inspection practices, defect identification, reporting, and production quality control.
• Applications from candidates whose quality experience is limited to non-printing industries such as automobile, textile, pharma, food, engineering, or FMCG will not be considered.
