Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated QA/QC Inspector specializing in structural fabrication to join our team at Dahej, Gujarat. This is a full-time position requiring on-site presence with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials such as plates, sections, and consumables, including verification of Mill Test Certificates (MTC).
- Carry out inspections at various stages including fit-up, dimensional measurements, visual welding checks, and final assembly assessments.
- Oversee welding processes ensuring compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications and Procedure Qualification Records (WPS/PQR).
- Manage coordination and witnessing of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures such as Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Radiographic Testing (RT).
- Prepare and maintain detailed daily QA/QC inspection reports, punch lists, and clearance documents.
- Liaise with clients and third-party inspection agencies to obtain necessary stage clearances.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience in QA/QC inspection within structural fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, welding standards, and NDT methods.
Compensation
Monthly remuneration ranges between 30,000 and 40,000 INR.
