Quality Inspector

Overview

Velocity Electronics invites applications for the role of Quality Inspector in Singapore to help maintain high standards of quality and operational excellence. The position centers around using advanced tools and objective testing techniques to verify that products conform to manufacturer and customer standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quality inspections on electronic components and associated products to confirm compliance with specified criteria.
• Use sophisticated inspection instruments and methods to validate that products satisfy customers’ quality requirements.
• Precisely document inspection data and evidence within the company’s ERP system to ensure traceability.
• Capture and arrange photographic evidence supporting inspection outcomes and quality documentation.
• Work closely with Quality Managers to fulfill all inspection tasks accurately and punctually.
• Effectively communicate inspection results to Quality teams, and when necessary, collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics departments.
• Carry out additional tasks as needed to support operational goals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of ITE certification, diploma in electronics engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least one year experience in handling electronic components and conducting inspection or quality assurance activities; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with working in Electrostatic Protected Areas (EPA) when handling electronic parts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Basic skills in photography and photo editing.
• Preferred knowledge of fundamental failure analysis methods like decapsulation, solder testing, and basic electrical/functional testing.
