About the Position
Kerr Industries, a leading specialist in modifying new vehicles into police and emergency vehicles, is seeking a diligent and dedicated Quality Inspector to join the Oshawa, Ontario team. Job Overview
This role demands individuals comfortable with industrial and physical work environments involving frequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and occasional fieldwork. Flexible hours including overtime may be required. Comprehensive training will be provided for all new hires.
Responsibilities
- Conduct all interim and final inspections on vehicles modified for police and emergency services.
- Verify that all ordered options per work orders are properly installed.
- Review build documentation to ensure vehicles comply with both Kerr and customer specifications.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail throughout inspection processes.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay ranging from $25.00 to $27.00, scaled according to experience.

Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in quality assurance or quality-focused roles is essential.
- Strong attention to workmanship quality and detail orientation.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

- A positive, cooperative attitude and ability to work effectively within teams.
- Preference given to applicants with experience in electronics, automotive mechanics, and hands-on tool use.
