Job Overview
Based in Wellington, New Zealand, this role requires a seasoned Quality Engineer with over six years of experience to lead and innovate within quality engineering and automation strategies across diverse applications and programs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Steer the creation and enhancement of automation strategies and frameworks to ensure robust quality engineering practices across multiple platforms.
- Apply expertise in tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and API automation, as well as enterprise-grade test automation frameworks.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Champion the integration of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), DevOps, and continuous testing methodologies to streamline release cycles and bolster product excellence.
- Guarantee extensive automation coverage encompassing user interface, API, mobile, integration, and regression test cases.
- Provide mentorship to automation teams, uphold stringent quality benchmarks, and enforce governance and best practices in automation.
- Incorporate artificial intelligence-driven testing techniques to elevate test effectiveness, broaden coverage, increase productivity, and enhance overall quality results.
