Role Overview
This full-time, on-site Quality Engineer position based in Riyadh is tasked with implementing and upholding quality standards across various infrastructure construction projects. Areas covered include potable water, wastewater, stormwater drainage, irrigation, firefighting networks, earthworks, and civil works related to electrical, street lighting, ICT, and chilled water systems. The role involves carrying out quality inspections, testing, reviewing technical documentation, overseeing construction activities, detecting non-compliance issues, coordinating corrective measures with project teams, ensuring adherence to approved procedures and client standards, maintaining quality records, and liaising with consultants and on-site teams for successful project execution.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Background in infrastructure construction projects, especially involving utility networks and associated civil works
- In-depth understanding of quality control methods, inspection techniques, and construction standards
- Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Hands-on experience conducting site inspections, supervising material testing, and handling Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
- Must be a Saudi national
