Quality Control Inspector – Civil Engineering

Overview

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector specializing in civil engineering to oversee quality inspections within the Oil & Gas sector in Mesaieed, Qatar. This position includes verifying civil construction activities against project specifications, approved plans, and enforcing stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect civil construction works to confirm adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
• Supervise site operations to pinpoint, document, and track quality concerns or deviations.
• Compile and upkeep inspection records, checklists, and all necessary QA/QC paperwork.
• Collaborate closely with construction personnel, engineers, and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve quality challenges.
• Guarantee all civil engineering tasks are performed according to project criteria, applicable regulations, and Oil & Gas industry norms.

Qualifications and Experience

• Mandatory educational credential: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• At least a decade of professional background in the field, with a minimum of 5 years specifically within the Oil & Gas domain.
• Proficiency in civil inspection protocols, QA/QC standards, construction quality sampling, documentation, and interpretation of technical drawings and project specifications.
• Applicants must provide valid educational and experience certificates; possession of Qatar Energy (QE) approval is advantageous.
