Job Summary

Under general guidance and following standard protocols, the Quality Assurance Technician performs audits and inspections across various facilities and departments to ensure quality standards are met. This role involves the use of computer software systems related to quality programs, data management, and requires fundamental building system knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage automated Quality Assurance functions within maintenance operations.
• Set up and maintain computerized QA programs, scheduling inspections, audits, and evaluations according to the defined schedule.
• Carry out all inspections and audits as scheduled, and investigate quality-related complaints thoroughly.
• Operate and manage the Cleantelligent software along with other relevant hardware and software.
• Support initiatives aimed at performance enhancement and safety improvements.
• Collect data, conduct research, and create reports regarding quality assurance and daily operations.
• Respond to facility emergencies as needed and contribute suggestions for continuous quality improvements.
• Participate in committees and document meeting minutes where required.
• Drive motorized vehicles daily as part of job duties.
• Handle additional related tasks as directed by the department.

Qualifications and Experience

• Associate's degree in Engineering or Business plus 5 years experience in maintenance with proficiency in one trade and broader understanding of others from similar roles; or
• High School Diploma or GED with 10 years maintenance experience demonstrating expertise in one trade and extensive knowledge of others from similar work environments.
• Ability to understand and clearly communicate complex instructions both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (notably Excel and Word), database management, and various office equipment.

Work Schedule and Location

This is a full-time role based at 205 Woods Lake Road, Greenville, SC 29607. The hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with possible adjustments during a one-week annual audit period. Applications are accepted only online.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $18 to $22.
