Quality Assurance Specialist

Overview

The Sher Agency is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to review and test staging websites ensuring they meet client specifications and high-quality standards. This role involves cross-browser and device testing, usability checks, and collaboration with development and design teams to maintain excellence throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine staging websites to confirm alignment with client requirements and visual designs.
• Perform thorough testing across multiple browsers, devices, and screen dimensions to guarantee responsiveness and optimal performance.
• Detect, document, and report bugs, usability challenges, and inconsistencies to development staff.
• Validate functionality of all interactive components such as links and forms.
• Evaluate typography, spacing, color consistency, and user interface/user experience elements.
• Ensure compliance with SEO guidelines, accessibility requirements, and website performance optimization.
• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and project managers to swiftly address identified problems.
• Contribute to improving company-wide QA protocols, checklists, and testing frameworks.

Performance Indicators

• Number of bugs/errors detected after website launch.
• Accuracy and thoroughness in identifying design and functional issues.
• Consistently meeting project timelines.
• Clear communication of constructive feedback to team members.
• Proposals for enhancing QA processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Previous QA experience in web design or digital agency environments.
• Solid knowledge of web design principles, UX best practices, and responsive design techniques.
• Familiarity with platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or equivalent.
• Ability to recognize design inconsistencies, functional faults, and areas needing improvement.
• Proficient in QA and testing tools such as BrowserStack, Developer Tools, ClickUp, and Jira.

Beneficial But Not Mandatory

• Understanding of web accessibility guidelines.
• Awareness of SEO best practices.

Compensation and Terms
