Role Overview
The company is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst who can design and maintain test suites, identify software defects, and work closely with the development team to deliver dependable and easy-to-use software products.
Responsibilities
- Apply a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle while carrying out QA activities.
- Develop test strategies, contribute to test planning, execute test cases, and manage defect workflows in test management systems.
- Handle testing activities during post-build stages and, when needed, before builds as well.
- Shape test strategies that align as closely as possible with Behaviour-Driven Development standards.
- Execute tests with a strong focus on quality; cross-browser validation is an important part of the role.
- Prepare detailed execution summaries for customers after regression cycles.
- Produce clear, structured, and complete test reports and supporting documentation.
- Record testing outcomes and log defects in a concise and accurate manner.
- Keep test records current and ensure test cases remain traceable to requirements.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in quality assurance.
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
- Prior exposure to Salesforce will be considered an advantage.
- Hands-on experience creating test strategies.
- Experience reviewing test strategies is an added advantage.
- Ability to perform cross-browser test execution.
- Experience generating reports from test management tools and sharing them with customers.
- Strong defect tracking and bug maintenance skills are essential.
- Exposure to Agile delivery practices.
Additional Details
The role is based in Kolkata and requires working from the office. The expected joining timeline is immediate.
Compensation
The compensation offered is INR 5,00,000 to INR 10,00,000 per year.
