Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer skilled in both UI and API automation testing. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing scalable automation frameworks and thrive in Agile workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain automation frameworks for web applications using Selenium WebDriver paired with Java.
• Create and run automated test scripts leveraging TestNG or JUnit.
• Conduct API automation tests using tools like RestAssured and Postman.
• Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins.
• Work collaboratively within cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and effective test cases.
• Perform thorough functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Ensure extensive test coverage and generate detailed test reports.
• Engage in code reviews and continuously enhance automation best practices.
• Handle cross-browser testing utilizing tools such as BrowserStack.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Familiarity with TestNG/JUnit testing frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of API testing strategies and tools like RestAssured or Postman.
• Experience using Maven or Gradle build automation tools.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
• Competence in SQL and conducting database validations.

Additional Skills (Advantageous)

• Expertise in test framework design patterns like POM, Factory, and Singleton.
• Familiarity with service virtualization tools such as WireMock.
• Basic awareness of performance testing concepts.
• Experience with mobile testing workflows.
• Knowledge of issue tracking and test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, or Xray.
