QA / QC Executive

Position Overview

The QA / QC Executive is tasked with maintaining compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Storage Practices (GSP) across contract manufacturing facilities. The role demands involvement in monitoring manufacturing and packaging processes, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensuring controls are sustainably implemented at various production lines. Routine status reports to management are an essential responsibility.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to cGMP and GSP standards at contract manufacturing sites through monitoring and oversight.
• Conduct GMP inspections of shop floors, warehouses, and ancillary service areas.
• Review batch records to verify manufacturing and packaging activities comply with Herbalife's requirements.
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) including metal detectors, induction sealers, and X-ray machines.
• Verify in-process parameters for powder manufacturing & packaging, granulation, compression, coating, capsule filling, counter filling for tablets and capsules, and stick packing.
• Support contract manufacturers in troubleshooting manufacturing and packaging issues.
• Facilitate investigations into non-conformances alongside contract manufacturers and cross-functional Herbalife teams to pinpoint root causes.
• Assist in the identification, implementation, and tracking of CAPAs related to market feedback and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Maintain and review daily reports of shop floor observations and CAPA effectiveness.
• Oversee material reconciliation and daily production reporting.
• Lead visual management to monitor investigation progress, ensure deadlines are met, and escalate critical issues for timely resolution.
• Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to verify the closure and effectiveness of action items.

Supervisory Details

• Collaborate with the Contract Manufacturing team to ensure compliance and timely resolution of observations.
• Follow up rigorously to guarantee closure of all observations within specified timelines.
