QA / QC Executive

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical QC Engineer based in Surat to enhance the quality standards in fabrication and assembly processes. This role requires a Mechanical Engineering graduate with over 3 years of experience in inspection within production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Elevate quality benchmarks throughout production activities.
• Ensure zero defects and deviations during inspections including pre-dispatch, on-site, and post-installation stages.
• Coordinate with Third Party Inspection (TPI) agencies to obtain necessary approvals.
• Verify production compliance with authorized designs and documentation.
• Monitor multiple production phases to lessen rework and rejection at final inspection.
• Participate in TPI inspections ensuring successful clearance.
• Maintain comprehensive project quality documentation and records.
• Generate reports aimed at driving continuous improvement across projects.
• Ensure safety adherence and compliance on the shop floor.
• Keep plant machinery maintenance records to minimize equipment failures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience specializing in fabrication and assembly inspection.
• Proficient in documentation and report generation.
• Good understanding of quality control standards and inspection methodologies.
• Familiarity with shop floor operations and enforcing safety regulations.
