Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned QA Executive to rigorously test websites, web apps, and mobile applications. Candidates should have a robust knowledge of functional as well as UI/UX testing, with hands-on experience on WordPress, Magento, Shopify, and both Android and iOS mobile platforms. Excellence in detail orientation, clear communication, and methodical testing processes are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute comprehensive test cases derived from project needs and user stories.
• Conduct functional, UI/UX, regression, cross-browser, and cross-device testing across web and mobile environments.
• Perform sanity and smoke tests prior to deployment ensuring critical functions remain stable.
• Effectively report bugs through tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp, including clear reproduction steps, visuals, and environment context.
• Re-test resolved issues and ensure defect closure with meticulous regression checks.
• Test eCommerce sites on WordPress, Magento, Shopify, and custom platforms, validating frontend and backend operations.
• Assess responsive designs and compatibility across various devices and browsers.
• Verify main workflows such as navigation, forms, checkout, and user account management.
• Execute tests on Android and iOS applications using physical devices and emulators, including installation, login flows, push notifications, and offline performance.
• Validate API responses, monitor crash reports, and check app performance under varying network conditions.
• Work alongside developers, product teams, and designers to enhance product quality and user experience.
• Maintain thorough documentation including test plans, execution records, QA approvals, and release notes.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes aligning QA activities with sprint cycles and delivery deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 3 to 4 years experience in QA for websites, web applications, and mobile apps.
• Skilled in test case creation, defect reporting, and QA documentation.
• Proficient with bug tracking/project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
• Expertise in conducting cross-browser and responsive testing on desktop and mobile devices.
• Strong command of browser developer tools including Inspect Element, Console, and Network monitoring.
• Basic familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based QA workflows.

Platform-Specific Knowledge

• WordPress: Experience with admin dashboards, plugins/themes, custom forms, shortcodes, page builders, WooCommerce checkout, and user flows.
• Magento: Understanding of eCommerce processes like product catalog, layered navigation, cart management, checkout, and account handling, alongside Magento admin panel basics.
• Shopify: Experience with product pages, cart and checkout systems, orders, Shopify apps, and Liquid template fundamentals.
• Mobile Apps: Testing on Android/iOS devices or simulators covering installation, authentication flows, API checks, crash monitoring, and performance evaluation.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Familiarity with BrowserStack, Postman, or similar platforms for cross-browser testing, API assessment, and performance analyses.
• Basic knowledge of Google Lighthouse or related tools for web performance assessment.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium is advantageous but not mandatory.
