About the Role
Based in Singapore, BullionStar is rapidly expanding and looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role offers a competitive compensation package up to S$5,000 per month plus a potential variable bonus of up to three months' salary. You'll work a Monday to Friday schedule, embracing a 5-day work week. Our development team focuses on enhancing our platform using service-oriented and automated architecture approaches, emphasizing DevOps practices, automated testing, monitoring, and error reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing for both web and mobile applications.
- Analyze requirements thoroughly and independently design test scenarios, test cases, and comprehensive test plans.
- Detect, investigate, document, and track defects until complete resolution.
- Perform regression testing for newly developed features, bug fixes, and systemic changes.
- Execute API testing to verify requests, responses, status codes, data integrity, and error handling.
- Carry out performance testing, including load tests and response time evaluations.
- Utilize technical tools such as browser developer tools, application logs, and databases during issue investigations.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify project risks and ensure robust test coverage.
- Participate in release testing cycles, offering feedback about quality and potential risks.
- Identify and suggest improvements to QA processes and test coverage to boost overall product quality.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Four to five years of solid experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
- Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
- Proven expertise in manual testing techniques.
- Experience in designing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and regression testing suites.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and performance testing practices.
- Strong technical comprehension of web applications and software systems.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English communication.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience with test automation frameworks or tools.
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages.
Additional Information
The position is based at BullionStar's office located at 45 New Bridge Road, strategically situated between Chinatown and Clarke Quay. The Clarke Quay MRT station is conveniently located across the street, facilitating easy commuting.
Work Schedule
This role follows a five-day workweek from Monday to Friday.
Compensation
Monthly salary up to S$5,000 plus up to three months' variable bonus.
