Job Overview

We are expanding our team and looking for a Python Odoo Developer to play a crucial role in our online trading and investment ventures. This position involves working closely with team members and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement new features and products on the Odoo platform, ensuring adherence to quality and security standards with a focus on modifiability and extensibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the collaborative creation of new functional features and products.
• Develop software solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Create detailed technical specifications including technology choices and workflows adhering to coding standards.
• Present completed implementations to leadership including team leaders and the CTO.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure reliability and performance.
• Guarantee that software meets all criteria relating to quality, security, and adaptability.
• Engage in code review processes to identify and rectify suboptimal patterns and opportunities for refactoring.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Python software development.
• Minimum 1 year experience working on projects involving the Odoo platform.
• Background in PHP development considered a beneficial asset.
• Strong knowledge of software and application design and architectural principles.
• Analytical and technically oriented with meticulous attention to detail.
• Awareness and understanding of software quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
• Proficiency in working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar platforms.
• Experience building microservices and managing containerized environments.
• Some practical involvement with Websockets.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Helm.
• Competence in version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
• Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
