Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Python Software Engineer to contribute to the core platform that supports a highly distributed computing environment. Responsibilities include designing and developing distributed services governing workload management, compute orchestration, resource allocation, and large-scale data processing within cloud-native ecosystems. This role involves addressing advanced engineering challenges involving distributed systems, fault tolerance, concurrency, and observability to maintain software reliability as workload scales increase.
Collaboration and Engineering Practices
Work alongside experienced platform engineers and infrastructure experts to architect solutions managing vast data volumes while ensuring top-tier performance, resilience, and operational efficiency. Required Experience and Qualifications
- Proficient hands-on development skills in Python
- Background in building secure, scalable backend applications and services
- Comprehensive understanding of software engineering concepts and clean coding standards
- Experience with data-intensive or distributed application environments
- Strong commitment to performance excellence, software reliability, and production readiness
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field
- Effective communication skills and cooperative problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks or platforms managing large-scale data
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container orchestration technologies
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS
- Hands-on with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
