About the Role

Seeking an experienced Python Developer with 4 to 20 years of professional background to design, build, test, and sustain scalable software systems. This role involves backend programming, API integration, and handling complex database operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, and maintain software applications using Python.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs along with backend services.
• Leverage frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI for efficient development.
• Connect applications to various databases and third-party APIs.
• Deliver clean, maintainable, and optimized code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing codebases for performance enhancement.
• Construct unit tests and actively engage in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet business needs.
• Utilize Git for source control and adhere to best software development practices.

Requirements

• Strong command over Python programming language.
• Practical experience with Python web frameworks including Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with REST API development and microservices architecture.
• Experience managing databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Comfortable using Git, Linux environments, and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like PyTest or unittest.
• Added advantage: experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
