Python Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with 5 to 8 years of expertise to join our energetic team in Pune, Maharashtra. The role involves designing, enhancing, and sustaining scalable software solutions using Python. Key responsibilities include collaborating with various departments to deliver top-quality applications and mentoring junior developers. Leadership experience combined with hands-on development is highly valued.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django REST Framework.
• Implement strong integration with databases including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Enhance application performance and scalability, particularly for systems processing vast data volumes.
• Produce clean, modular, and well-documented code adhering to best development practices.
• Take part in architectural planning and conduct peer code reviews.
• Work closely with product management and development teams to define requirements and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Leverage team-leading skills alongside individual technical contributions.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Professional experience in Python backend development spanning 5 to 8 years.
• Expertise in Flask; knowledge of FastAPI, Django, or Django REST Framework is advantageous.
• Proficient with both relational (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Strong skills in designing and building REST APIs.
• Experience developing and tuning scalable web services or microservices.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Redis and Celery or similar queuing systems is mandatory.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of deploying machine learning models.
• Exposure to Generative AI technologies (e.g., llama, OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain, Agentic AI) or data engineering tools (e.g., pandas, numpy) is a plus.
