Job Role Summary

Join an innovative team dedicated to advancing online trading and cryptocurrency technologies. This role focuses on backend development contributing to cryptocurrency trading platforms and blockchain integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to create backend features for trading and crypto-related products.
• Convert business needs into robust, scalable, secure, and efficient technical implementations.
• Develop thorough technical documentation and choose appropriate technologies and workflows following industry best practices.
• Create and uphold unit and integration testing to guarantee reliable and high-standard software delivery.
• Engage in code reviews to detect anti-patterns and proactively undertake code refactoring and optimizations.
• Design and execute secure connections to blockchain networks, cryptocurrency exchanges, and digital wallets.
• Support backend systems vital for cryptocurrency trading, custody management, settlement, and risk mitigation processes.
• Assure that all software solutions comply with required criteria for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Communicate technical designs and solutions effectively to team leaders, department heads, or CTO.
• Perform additional tasks as designated by management when needed.

Essential Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python programming, with practical experience in backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Deep knowledge of SQL including designing, optimizing, and maintaining relational database systems.
• Experience working on cryptocurrency or blockchain projects, including understanding of crypto protocols, wallets, transactions, and exchange mechanisms.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with Web3 libraries such as Web3.py or ethers.js.
• Understanding of smart contract interactions and blockchain infrastructure for platforms like Ethereum and Bitcoin.
• Experience with cloud environments including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of asynchronous systems or message queue technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Awareness of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
