Python and Django Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python and Django Developer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications. The role involves building efficient RESTful APIs, integrating databases and external services, and collaborating with frontend and cross-functional teams to ensure robust application performance and security compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python and the Django framework.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs with Django REST Framework.
• Write reusable, scalable, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
• Integrate data storage solutions and third-party APIs.
• Work closely with frontend developers and other teams to deliver seamless functionality.
• Debug and optimize application performance continuously.
• Participate actively in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Ensure that the application meets security and data protection requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2-3 years of professional experience in Python development.
• In-depth experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
• Practical experience in API development and integration.
• Familiarity with Git version control systems.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization processes, and JWT tokens.
• Understanding of caching systems such as Redis.
• Experience working within Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
• Familiarity with Docker containerization technology.
• Experience with Celery for asynchronous task processing.
• Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of React.js or similar JavaScript frameworks.
