Position Overview
We are looking for experienced Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) Operators to join our team at T-ALL Inspection in Abu Dhabi Oilfield, UAE. This opportunity requires hands-on expertise in operating heat treatment equipment specifically for oil and gas pipeline projects.
Key Duties
- Operate various PWHT devices such as electrical resistance heating and temperature recording systems.
- Carry out PWHT processes strictly following approved Welding Procedures Specifications (WPS) and PWHT protocols.
- Manage the heating, soaking, and cooling phases per engineering criteria.
- Install thermocouples and oversee temperature distribution throughout the treatment cycle.
- Document and preserve detailed temperature charts and records related to heat treatment operations.
- Collaborate closely with welding and quality control teams during inspection hold and witness points.
Required Experience and Knowledge
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with PWHT in oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors.
- Familiarity with ASME or ADNOC project standards is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of welding procedures and heat treatment obligations.
- Proficient in reading technical manuals and reports in English.
