Job Overview

We seek a Purchasing Officer proficient in acquiring vehicles from individual sellers, ensuring competitive pricing and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming offers from customers wishing to sell their cars.
• Arrange vehicle inspections by coordinating with the inspection team at the customer's location.
• Evaluate vehicle condition, assess market value, and set negotiation parameters to establish fair purchase prices.
• Conduct negotiations with sellers to reach competitive and agreeable purchase terms.
• Ensure thorough and timely completion of all documentation related to vehicle purchases.
• Maintain an organized database logging details and histories of all purchased vehicles.
• Track automotive market trends and competitor purchasing strategies to enhance procurement decisions.
• Work closely with the sales department to integrate purchased vehicles smoothly into inventory.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards throughout the purchasing process.
• Compile regular reports for management outlining purchasing activities and key performance indicators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• At least three years' direct experience in vehicle purchasing within the automotive sector is preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills with the capability to make informed buying decisions grounded in market research.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail with high accuracy in handling documentation and transaction workflows.
• Familiar with automotive valuation methods and market dynamics.
• Fluency in Arabic and English required; additional language skills beneficial.
• Preference given to Saudi nationals.
