Position Overview

We are expanding our procurement team and seeking a dedicated Purchaser to enhance our Supplier Relationship Management and support internal stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster a cooperative partnership between SICPA and its suppliers by managing supplier relationships efficiently.
• Gain comprehensive understanding of the requirements of internal customers.
• Organize and conduct supplier bids and Requests for Quotation (RFQs), assessing outcomes thoroughly.
• Develop and maintain the article database along with Vendor Master Data and procurement details within SAP.
• Generate and oversee Purchase Orders in SAP, ensuring punctual delivery of goods or services.
• Continuously update and refine Business Intelligence reports, and prepare procurement-related KPIs and reports.
• Collaborate closely with other departments including production, engineering, finance, quality, and supply chain to align procurement activities.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses either a commercial or technical educational background with one to three years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
• Proficient in the use of SAP, particularly the MM (Materials Management) modules.
• Exhibits excellent communication skills with the capacity to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or German is advantageous.
