Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a Manager for our Purchase department located in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience, preferably with exposure in Electrical or Steel industries. A relevant graduate, diploma, or postgraduate degree is required to ensure suitability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all activities related to purchasing and procurement.
- Develop new vendors, engage in negotiations, and manage supplier relationships.
- Implement cost control measures and ensure timely sourcing of required materials.
- Work closely with internal teams to understand and fulfill purchase needs.
- Maintain accurate purchase records and generate regular reports.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Electrical, B.Com, MBA, BBA or equivalent qualification.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, especially within Electrical or Steel industries.
